Description
Exotic craft leather HUGE LOT snakeskin, lizard, fish all colors HUGE lot of exotic leather, some natural colors, some novelty dyed - all types and colors! We know nothing at all about exotic leathers, but do know that these are all newer stock from a leathercrafter's estate. These were for making cowboy boots and other western gear, hat bands, handbags and purses, wallets etc.. All of these were very carefully stored on rolls, and are clean, supple, and in very good condition. Some of the hides are stamped with descriptions or number, and some have paper labels which we have carefully kept with each hide, as we think the previous owners knew much more about these than we do! Most of these we think are snake skin. We looked carefully at all of the photos on the exotichides website, where there are photos for each type of leather - python, anaconda, rattlesnake, cobra, etc. but are still confused about what types of snakeskin these are, so we've tried to take very clear photos and give measurements of each skin. Some of these we think are lizard or farmed alligator, and one, we know, is marked as fish skin leather. There are some other hides we just can't even guess what they are. There are about 25 full hides here, about 11 partial hides, plus a very large number (about 50) of small pieces (ranging in size from around 6" to 10" long, mostly full widths). A nice big collection which you won't find every day, not even on ebay! This is the entire collection, all in one lot, so bid now and don't miss out, when this is gone we have no more stock available. Now - about the photos. The first photo shows the entire lot together. 2nd photo (and the 3rd photo which is close up of the same) shows two skins. The blue one measures 15 FEET long x 9 1/2" wide at the widest point. The brown one measures 4' 11" long x 11 1/2" wide at the widest point. 4th photo (and the 5th photo which is close up of the same) shows three skins. The pinky-purple one measures 8 FEET long x 7" wide at the widest point. The grey one measures 8 1/2 feet long x 7 3/4" wide at the widest point. The peach colored one measures 4'10" long x 4" wide at it's widest point. 6th photo (and the 7th photo which is close up of the same) shows two black skins. These both measure about 3 FEET long by 5 1/2" wide at the widest point. 8th photo (and the 9th photo which is close up of the same) shows four blue skins. These all measure about 3 1/2 FEET long by 4" wide at the widest point. 10th photo (and the 11th photo which is close up of the same) shows three skins. The grey one measures 3'9" long x 5" wide at the widest point. The orangey-brown one also measures 3'9" long x 5" wide at the widest point. The peach colored one measures 4'3" long x 3 1/2" wide at it's widest point. 12th photo (and the 13th photo which is close up of the same) shows three grey skins. These all measure about 3 1/2 FEET long by 5/12" wide at the widest point. 14th photo shows two lizard skins (we think these are lizard?), grey and brown. The grey one measure about 18" long by 8 1/4" wide at the widest point. The brown one measures 18" long x 10" wide. 15th photo shows two lizard skins (we think these are lizard?), red and brown. The red one measure about 14 1/2" long by 11" wide at the widest point. The brown one measures 114 1/2" long x 9" wide. 16th photo shows two lizard skins (we think these are lizard?), blue and brown. The blue one measure about 16" long by 11" wide at the widest point. The brown one measures 22" long x 9" wide. 17th photo shows two lizard skins (we think these are lizard?), both a burgundy color. They both measure about 15 1/2" long by 9" wide at the widest point. The next two photos show partial skins, which range from 1 1/2 to 2 FEET long. And the rest of the photos are various sundry parts. Please email us if you have questions, or need more measurements or photos. Thank you!
