Description
Industrial zig-zag Pfaff 418-6. Ultra high speed with 10 mm bite. Arm space, or gate, from needle to inside of arm is a bit over 10 inches. Table (included) is 48x20 industry standard and NEW. Lamp and thread stand is also included. Reconditioned, repainted, new parts on new power stand with new clutch motor. Belt cover included. I also hand tooled a specialty foot that is great for satin stitching as the middle is totally open. I am selling this machine after only having it for one year. Machine is wonderful but I found out that I really just do NOT enjoy this type of sewing and do not need the machine any longer. Machine is clean, new and ready to sew! Purchased for $1500.00. And - yes - my sewing room REALLY is that pink! NO SHIPPING PICK UP ONLY - you will need a truck and someone to help you move the machine. NO RETURNS - machine is perfect - works great - no reason for a return. Payment must clear before you get the machine. ***Just an additional note/revision here..... I used this machine for a contract job I had sewing tackle twill lettering on to sports jerseys. Was much faster and ACCURATE in the stitching than I ever could get from my regular home machine. I burned out 2 home machines (granted they were old and not meant for heavy usage) before purchasing this machine to do the jerseys, I finished out the contract and did not accept any others. It is just not the type of sewing for me. I am a professional seamstress and prefer "regular" sewing. I have other industrial machines (straight stitch) and would keep this if I had the room but I dont so it has to go. :( On Jul-04-08 at 16:00:03 PDT, seller added the following information:When I purchased the machine on 1/07, the company sent me an email with a photo of a 418-6.I never owned or knew anything about industrials prior to this one... I looked at the invoice and it is listed on there as a reconditioned model 418 SN: 751879. The dealer never told me that the machine image he sent me of a 418-6 was any different from the machine I purchased. I have been asked this several times when I listed the item for the first time so I amnow concerned that I have the "-6" wrong because I do not know the machine is just a 418????? I can promise you that the machine is straight zigzag only not a 3 step zig-zag. I will have to call the dealer but I suspect he sent me an IMAGE of a 418-6 for demonstration purposes but never told me that the straight zigzag machine I wanted was just a 418. PLEASE EMAIL ME ANY QUESTIONSOn Jul-04-08 at 17:00:12 PDT, seller added the following information:*******I found this site that has the manual for this machine: http://www.sewingmanuals.net/pfaff-models-418-amp-438-sewing-service-418438.htmlOn Jul-04-08 at 21:06:42 PDT, seller added the following information:I have a CD my dealer gave me that has all of the parts listed for this machine should you ever need anything. I just located it so it was not listed in the orignal description. This is wonderful to have and will save you lots of time and effort should you ever need something. It comes along with the machine naturally....
