Hides with cuts and holes are bigger but the square footage is calculated to account for these small flaws. The leather was purchased at $4.00 a square foot from Conneaut Leather. It is unused and untouched, pretty much still in original packaging. The leather is Showcase Eco™ Chrome Free. It is an environmentally friendly, vegetable tanned biodegradable leather. Since we never used the hides and don't forsee using them in the near future we are listing them on eBay for $3.00 a square foot.
